Organizational History
Dreaming formed a literal foundation of the company.
Aldrich acted on a recurring dream that she had while
pregnant with her son. Aldrich dreamed about creating
a media network for conscious-minded women that would
offer expert advice to women on all aspects of her
everyday. After working to make those dreams a reality,
For Her Information TV was born, sharing useful ideas,
information and solutions to women across the country
as syndicated on PBS television. Within another year,
fhi print magazine and The FHI Connection online weekly
newsletter evolved, offering quick and practical articles
for busy women. For a dose of wit, wisdom and charismatic
banter, Conversations with Beth and Dan and then, A
Balanced Life radio shows joined the lineup, giving
web visitors the chance to listen in on topics that
interest conscious-mindd women
In August 2007, fhi magazine joined the ranks of eco-conscious
magazines by switching to a completely digital format,
offering monthly issues of great content that fhi readers
have grown to expect and enjoy. fhi Online Magazine
offers easy-to-print articles for women on the go and
colorful web layout for relaxed reading at your desk!
