Beth Aldrich
Founder, Chief Executive Officer
In Her Shoes, LLC and For Her Information Media

In 2003, Beth Aldrich started her own creative production company, For Her Information Media (FHI) (formerly In Her Shoes, LLC); her main current projects are For Her Information TV; the quarterly publication For Her Information magazine, and FHI Online including the radio show, Conversations with Beth and Dan. The TV series airs nationally on the PBS television network and internationally on the HOP! Family Network in Israel (dubbed in Russian, Hebrew and Islamic).

The FHI Concept was born from the idea that “women are alike more than they are different” and that women rely on one another to improve their lives by sharing answers, ideas and solutions. The FHI media brand reflects Beth’s belief that “if you take care of yourself, you can then cultivate others and together nurture the earth.”

Beth’s background is rich with professional experiences well-suited to this endeavor. With more than 20 years of on-camera work, including the lead role in all of Delta Airlines on-board videos for five years, numerous commercials and industrials, Beth is an engaging and entertaining host. She is an active SAG member, with a BA in Journalism with an emphasis in television production (Dance Minor). Additionally, Beth’s energy and wide range for performance led her to pursue further education by interning with an ABC affiliate station in Virginia; studying improvisation at Second City Training Center in Chicago; and excelling in scene study and on-camera technique at both the Alliance Theatre in Atlanta and Act One in Chicago.

In addition to her work with FHI, Beth serves on the Executive Committee for Cool Globes, an artistic exhibit scheduled for display on Chicago’s lakefront in the summer of 2007. The project will inspire and educate the public about the importance to Stop Global Warming in it’s tracks (Beth’s involvement includes film production, guidebook publication and sponsorships). Supporters of this project, headed by Wendy Abrams of Chicago include Robert Kennedy Jr. of the NRDC, Film Producer, Laurie David and scores of other dedicated environmentalists. She is also on the development committee for the NFP Organization, The Heart of the Heartland in Glenview, Illinois. The organization’s mission is to plant seeds of hope in women through a luncheon lecture series. Beth also regularly volunteers at her children’s schools, often donating media-based projects for the classroom projects.

In her free time, Beth runs (completed the Boston Marathon in 2000 with a personal best time), swims, plays golf with her family, is challenged by Sudoku, prepares raw food recipes and has a passion for the Indiana dunes. Beth lives with her husband, Tom, and three sons in Chicago’s Lincoln Park. Her family life frames her belief: “One question answered can create personal change with ripple effects touching the local and even global community that’s what I am trying to achieve and what For Her Information is all about.”

Speaking Engagements
Beth is available for inspirational and educational talks and seminars on a variety of topics to groups, schools, fitness centers, sports teams, clubs, organizations and corporations. For more information or to schedule an engagement, please contact Beth at beth@forherinformation.com
