Friday
afternoon at 4:15, the Women's Resource Fair will feature
a screening of the critically-acclaimed documentary,
In the Family, by Chicago filmmaker Joanna Rudnick.
At age 27 Rudnick learns that she carries the BRCA mutation,
which predisposes her to ovarian and breast cancer.
In this journey of awareness, discovery, and decision-making
she reaches out to other women, while facing her own
deepest fears. This event is a collaboration with P.O.V.,
PBS' award-winning nonfiction film series. Space is
limited, and the event is being sponsored by Lotus Blossom
Consulting.
