Remember,
Mother's Day is Sunday, May 10th!
With
ideas of flowers and gifts, every year my children get
very excited about what to "give" me for this
special holiday. I always tell them, "I only want
your love (and maybe something cute "made"
in school to keep in my memory box) and to be with you
all day long." One year, I decided to take my husband's
suggestion and have a spa day, but I must tell you,
my heart just wasn't into it. I wanted to be with the
three little reasons why I celebrated Mother's Day in
the first place. So now, every year, we hang out all
day (just having fun) and then we go out to dinner at
my favorite restaurant! That's my idea of the perfect
Mother's Day.
Well,
this year we're going to visit my mom instead! We'll
be sitting by the pool and watching the kids play while
we enjoy the Arizona sunshine. I'm sure we'll have dinner
at her favorite restaurant this year!

For
a wonderful Mother's Day gift idea, stop by on Saturday,
May 2nd at 3pm at the Barnes
and Nobel bookstore in Chicago (1441 West Webster Avenue
in Chicago, IL 60614 773-871-3610) and meet Beth
during her book signing of, Chicken
Soup for the Soul: Power Moms.
Another
fun gift idea is Kristin McGee's "Pilates for Beginners"
DVD. It's a perfect place to start if you're new to
pilates. For more information, click
