It's finally here!

Spring that is...in Chicago where I live. I know other cities have been enjoying sunshine and flowers for weeks now, but for us here in Chicago, we've been teased (with a day or two of 70's and then--snow) long enough. Today, while taking my dogs out in the yard, I saw my lily of the valley sprouts shooting up from under the mulch--such a welcome sight!

All this talk of springtime and flowers makes a girl want to get moving on garden planning.
