I
love salmon! It's so good for you and it tastes delicious.
Today I came across this easy-to-prepare recipe that
you'll just love (even my kids love it). Try serving
it with steamed (fresh from the garden) pea pods and
wild rice...a great way to keep you in step with the
nutritious (and delicious) new food pyramid!
Oriental Glazed Salmon
* 3 tablespoons teriyaki sauce
* 2 tablespoons honey
* 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
* 1 tablespoon honey-Dijon mustard
* 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
* 1/2 teaspoon Chinese five-spice powder
* 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
* 4 (6-oz.) salmon fillets
In a small bowl, whisk together teriyaki sauce, honey,
lime juice, mustard, oil, Chinese five-spice powder
and garlic salt. Place salmon on lightly greased black
metal tray; brush lightly with teriyaki mixture. Cook
using the appropriate settings below or until fish flakes
easily when tested with a fork. Turn salmon over and
brush with teriyaki mixture after 3 minutes of cooking
time or. If using the Advantium 120, turn salmon over
and brush with teriyaki mixture after 10 minutes of
cooking time. Brush with remaining glaze before serving.
Makes 4 servings~ YUM!
Happy
Dining!
