As
we head into the last few weeks of summer I find myself
desperately trying to savor each and every purple-pink
sunset here on the Indiana dunes. I stop a little longer
to enjoy (with a chuckle) my new puppies as they chase
bugs in the morning's dewy grass and I eagerly volunteer
to shoot hoops with my 10-year-old son, just to "live"
the summer life that I am trying live. If I tell you
to live in balance and Savor Your Life, then I too,
must heed that call. So often I find myself chained
to the computer, checking emails, writing one more article
or handling the family's affairs; but when I stop to
breathe and look out the window at the picture perfect
blue sky, I realize, why am I doing it all? What is
it all for?
My
answer is, you!
I
truly want to offer you the best information, ideas
and solutions that I can in hopes that it will positively
impact your day and that of others. With that in mind,
if you enjoy our radio show and online magazine, let
us know, share it with a friend and help us to continue
to grow our 5-year-old FHI mission to even greater heights!
Thank You.

chat with Dianne Gregg, author of the book, The Hidden
Dangers of Soy. After developing a severe allergy to
soy that nearly killed her, Dianne learned the truth
behind this supposed health food. "The Hidden Dangers
of Soy" is the culmination of her efforts to educate
others on the issue in hopes more will avoid soy's underreported--yet
widely researched--negative health impacts. Gregg is
also an award-winning commercial photographer, whose
work has been heralded by major publications, including
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Do
you ever crave a chocolate bar, salty chips, steak or
French fries? Most people believe that cravings are
a problem or represent a weakness; but that is not always
the case. Often, people forget just how amazing the
human body really is. Think about it. It knows when
to go to sleep, wake up, go to the bathroom, maintain
98.6 degrees and tighten the eyes when the light gets
bright. It knows the miracle of pregnancy and childbirth.
Your heart never misses a beat. Your lungs are always
breathing. The body is a super-computer, and it never
makes mistakes.
