Peace on Earth!

Happy Holidays!

With all of the things to do this holiday season, who has time to just sit and relax? So often we get caught up in the momentum of the holidays that we forget what it's all about.

I've been taking some time this year to help out at my children's school, collecting and wrapping gifts for needy families (as my baby sitter helps ME wrap our gifts!). I have to tell you, I got a warm glow inside, again this year, as I searched for and selected gifts for a mother of eight. I imagined her squeezing her lush, fluffy bathrobe and new towels while she carefully opened the box containing gift cards to help her complete her holiday meal. As I wrapped, I felt a connection to her in more ways than I can express. Many of us volunteer our time, and I must admit, every year, I look forward to this special offering. It gives me so much more than I can put into words.
