Middle East

Friday, July 15, 2005

Two years ago when I was writing the concept for my television series, For Her Information, little did I know that it would grow into a Metropolitan Chicago television show, a national digital cable television show, a weekly e-newsletter and NOW an International television show airing on the HOP! network in the Middle East.

Who would imagine?  Now, we're in full swing developing our quarterly magazine that will be distributed all over the Chicago area.  We are hoping to establish a special mailing list for our e-newletter readers as well.

It's SO exciting.  I've come in contact with such amazing people who have supported me in so many ways.  There are too many to mention, but they know who they are.  I am truly grateful to all of you.

So, I've decided to share our press release with you as this week's newsletter because this newsletter was designed to keep you in touch with the show's happenings and to answer your questions.

So, here's to the HOP! Channel in the Middle East, thank you for choosing our show!

Local Chicago TV Series Goes International with Major Distribution in Middle East

Starting in the next few weeks,For Her Information will be seen weekly by more than 1.4 million viewers and broadcast in Arabic, Hebrew and Russian, throughout Israel.  In what is considered a popular genre of TV in the Middle East,

"For Her Information's Conscious TV programming for women fits a new and needed niche in Israeli programming," according to Beth Aldrich, creator and host of For Her Information. The format of For Her Information offers something different: answers, ideas and solutions to everyday questions featuring both a viewer with a question or concern and an expert who can help.

The Chicago based show is currently airing in Metropolitan Chicago on PAX TV and throughout the U.S. on a leading national network for inspired programming -- Inspirational Life Television, i-Lifetv.

As distributor for this series overseas, Andrea Stokes, International Sales Manager, Canamedia, comments:

"With the trend leaning toward women's health and fitness programming, For Her Information

is a timely series that will do well in the international market."      In Israel, the series will be broadcast via HOP! Channel Ltd, reaching over 1.4 million households with a combined market penetration of 90%. Specifically, For Her Information will be viewed via the latest of HOP!'s networks, the Parenting Channel, which covers a wide spectrum of issues relevant to parenting, relationships, childbirth, child psychology, family conflicts, health, adolescence, aging, moral and ethical issues. "The 14 weekly episodes of For Her Information answer the needs for most of The Parenting Channel's viewers, who are women and working mothers."

According to Vida Ahronee, Program Acquisition Coordinator for HOP! Channel,

"For Her Information is a high quality production and is sure to be a success on the Parenting Channel."     For more information about For Her Information, contact http://www.forherinformation.com or Sharon Meyers at 847 571 1499 or smeyerscomms@aol.com
