What if we told you there was a show out there where you could actually get your reality television with a heaping dose of...reality?
Imagine that.
For Her Information with Beth Aldrich, a 30-minute lifestyle program featuring useful tips for women of all ages, from how to organize your closet once and for all to eating organically, is anything but your everyday "dump him in front of millions of people and land your face on the cover of a tabloid rag" kind of reality show.
Executive producer/host/busy Lincoln Park mom Aldrich came up with the concept for her show after a night out with the girls when she realized they had tons of questions and very few places to go for the answers.
Aldrich goes on-location with such notable guests as Dr. Jane Goodall, celebrity chef Rick Bayless and Newman's Own (as in Paul) Nell Newman to find topics that enable women to connect and allow them to take better care of themselves, both inside and out.
So let us be the first to say, "Welcome to The Real World."
We know you'll enjoy your stay.
For Her Information airs in Chicago on PAX (Channel 38) every Saturday at 5:30 a.m. and starting April 5th on the iLife National Digital Network (Comcast Channel 231) on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9 a.m. & Wednesdays at 11:30 a.m
Bon appetit!

Scoop Du Jour Queen of All Media
Published July 27, 2005
If you thought Oprah was the only media conglomerate to breeze into the Windy City, think again...
Between her international television series, weekly e-newsletter and upcoming magazine launch, Executive Producer/Editor-in-Chief Beth Aldrich is poised to give the world's most beloved talk show host a run for her money.
As if booking a wide variety of fascinating guests for her show like celeb chef Rick Bayless and Dr. Jane Goodall wasn't enough to keep her busy, Aldrich is also hard at work launching fhi Chicago magazine, slated to hit bubblegum pink newsstands all around the city in February 2006.
fhi Chicago will feature a range of relevant topics for city dwellers and suburbanites alike, from fashion and relationships to diet and motherhood. The free magazine will be distributed quarterly, and the 7 x 9-inch design makes it the perfect companion for women on the go.
The FHI Connection online newsletter not only allows fans of the show to stay connected on a weekly basis, it also provides great everyday tips for women of all ages.
So what will Beth Aldrich come up with next?
We have a feeling her answer would be, "Stay tuned."
You bet we will.
