FHI Makes Way for Real Moms Love to Eat
by Daisy Simmons

Home >

Since the first issue came out four and a half years ago, FHI’s health and nutrition writers have covered everything from fitness, to raw foods, to rGBH in milk. We’ve caught up with famous healthy chefs like Rick Bayless, and organic farming advocates like Nell Newman for the FHI TV show that’s aired on stations like PBS. It’s all been with FHI’s overarching goal in mind: to take care of ourselves so that we cultivate communities who together can nurture the earth.

Now it’s time for us to move forward with the first part of that equation—focusing specifically on encouraging happy, healthy food indulgences at our new site, Real Moms Love to Eat. Here, Beth shares her favorite nutrition tips to keep you and your family fit and satisfied. She does this with email tips that come out three times a week, including Meal Planning Mondays, Whine and Dine Wednesdays and Food Flirt Fridays.

Here are a few recent reader favorites from the new site:

Hey Tyler Florence, Make My Salad Better! — Beth chats with the celeb chef, who shares this delish Arugula, Roasted Cherry Tomatoes & Bocconcini Salad recipe.

Super Staples: Power of a Healthy Plate — Beth responds to a reader question, listing out the top must-haves for a healthy pantry

Are You Nuts? — Offering up her tasty, spreadable nut pate recipe, Beth gives readers a good reason to check out raw foods.

We hope you’ll stay with us as we move into this next phase of spreading the good news that being healthy can be fun and easy.
